Positon Filled 

Chambers are seeking candidates with comprehensive experience of Business Development within a professional services environment. The role will require someone with the experience of developing new business within a professional services environment, to identify their requirements, to create solutions and to secure business for chambers and its members. The candidates will need to be able to work with all types of clients, combined with the right level of gravitas.

 

The key responsibilities of the role will be:

 

  • Business Planning & Business Development

  • Developed Client Relationship Management (CRM) skills to secure and maintain existing and develop new work streams with existing clients

  • Work with lapsed clients to identifying opportunities to develop new work

  • Identify and develop opportunities with new and aspirational clients to develop new areas of work

  • Identify and develop opportunities to win work in new areas of law

  • Marketing – to work with both barristers and clerks to develop our Marketing Strategy of knowledge-sharing with clients through Events, Seminars and Client-Training as well as through extensive use of Social Media.

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the barristers and their practice managers (clerks)

  • Reporting & maintaining full and accurate records of all business development and CRM activity

  • Full and accurate reporting:

  • CEO (Weekly)

  • CEO for Management Committee (Monthly)

  • Annual Report for AGM (usually March)
