5 St Andrew’s Hill is a successful barristers’ chambers consisting of around 65 members, including 2 Queen’s Counsel, whose practices are in the areas of Crime (both prosecution and defence), extradition and regulatory work, proceeds of crime, civil and family law. Operating from modern premises within easy reach of the courts and mainline and tube stations, Chambers is now seeking a successor to the current Chambers Director, who currently supervises all of chambers clerking and non-clerking staff.
The successful candidate will be a forward-looking and dynamic individual, who is either an experienced barristers’ clerk or has experience in legal management within a chambers or law firm, and with proven abilities in Practice Management, Financial Management, Business Development and Marketing, including the use and potential of IT, staff supervision, motivation of both staff and barristers and general administration.
Candidates will need to be fully conversant with all current fees procedures, aware of the current changes envisaged for the Bar, and possess enthusiasm and flair for driving the business of Chambers forward. 5SAH uses the Meridian Diary and Fees system.
Remuneration for this post will be paid according to the level of experience offered by the successful candidate.
