We are seeking new candidates for Junior Clerk roles in various barristers’ chambers in London.

The candidates will have a good all-round education and will be seeking and interesting and progressive career opportunity, within the legal profession.

Barristers are usually grouped together in a chambers to provide advocacy, advice and representation before all levels of courts and tribunals in England and Wales and courts in other jurisdictions.

The duties for the junior clerk role usually include:

  • Opening and sorting post

  • Processing incoming emails

  • Entering data on the Diary and Fees computer

  • General administration

  • Collecting and distribution of papers

  • Dealing with stationery and office supplies

Candidate criteria:

  • Education to A Level standard preferred and with five GCSE’S grade A-C including Maths and English

  • Excellent Communications skills, written and verbal

  • Ability to work unsupervised and under pressure

  • Polite, friendly and have a smart appearance
