Gillingham Street Angels is a grassroots charity founded in 2018 run by the local community, for the local community. Our mission is to support and help the homeless and vulnerable people in the Medway towns and surrounding areas no matter what the reason.
We are recruiting for a new opportunity to join our expanding team as a full-time Office Co-ordinator, based at the head office in Jenkins Dale, Chatham.
The role is extremely busy and varied and will include general day to day office administration, co-ordination and support of volunteers and work placements, management of the recycling initiatives, co-ordination of food deliveries and assisting the Operations Manager with ad-hoc projects.
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, organized, enthusiastic and able to adapt to the changing needs of the business. You will need previous office administration experience, well developed social media and IT Skills and the ability to organize and prioritise your own workload. Knowledge of effective methods to recruit and develop volunteers and experience working within the educational provision would be an advantage.
