Magdalen Chambers is a highly regarded chambers based in Exeter with 40  members who practice in Civil and Family law. The chambers have a regional and national client base, and members are featured in various legal directories.

Our client is seeking experienced candidates for the Chambers Director role at this busy chambers. The Chambers Director will be supported by a team of 9 experienced clerking and administrative staff.

The Chambers Director will manage and direct all staff, provide strategic direction and business management for chambers, together with the Management Committee and Heads of Chambers.

The successful candidate will be someone with relevant previous experience senior management responsibilities and/or relevant clerking skills.

Duties will include:

· Overseeing all Diary and Practice Management

· Managing Fees and Finances, in conjunction with the Treasurer and Fees Team

· Business Development and Marketing in conjunction with other staff

· Managing Operations and Staff Supervision

· General Chambers Administration – supporting Management Team
