Barristers’ Clerk vacancy
Salary not less than £25,000, plus generous benefits package
Leading law firm, Browne Jacobson, has offices in many parts of England and Wales.
Our client is now seeking candidates for a Barristers’ Clerk role within the Advocates department. The post will be operate mainly from the Nottingham office, but working from other cities would be possible.
The role is equivalent to a Barrister’s Clerk post in barristers’ chambers, but the difference is that the role encompasses some of the activities carried out in Law firms as well as in a chambers.
This is a full-time post – 5 days per week (35 hours) and the candidates must be highly organised and extremely personable individuals, and have sufficient relevant previous experience to be able manage the practices of Advocates within the firm, with a comprehensive knowledge of procedures and listing of cases and awareness of current fee regimes.
Relevant clerking in chambers experience of not less than 5 years, gained in another chambers is essential.
