Our client is a modern law firm, based in North-East England with a profile of work focussed on maritime law and international trade with an emphasis on Dispute Resolution work (both High Court and arbitration).

They are now seeking a Barrister either with relevant experience or a willingness to develop such experience to join their busy team.

The role will involve work of a quality equivalent to London competitors in the same field often in relation to high profile cases for both international and domestic clients. Some overseas travel is likely to be required and occasional Advocacy opportunities may arise. Excellent academic record required and a willingness to become involved in all areas of work.

The remuneration package will be competitive for the right candidate and will have added benefits including employee pension scheme, and medical insurance. The position is based in the client’s North East offices but some flexible/hybrid working is available. Details are available on request.
