Reflecting its successful growth and development strategy, 3 Verulam Buildings (3VB) is seeking to appoint a Deputy Senior Practice Manager / Team Leader to lead the practice management team for chambers’ silks.

3VB is a distinguished, award-winning commercial set of chambers. Its members consistently appear in prominent cases of the day in their practice areas. Chambers currently consists of 101 members, including 34 silks and 67 juniors.

The successful candidate will drive the development and management of the practices of chambers’ silks and further, will assist chambers achieve its development goals at all levels. This will involve working closely with the Director of Clerking and the Senior Practice Manager to represent chambers, deputising for them from time to time as required.

The role calls for an excellent communicator and team player with extensive experience at a senior level. Relevant attributes include strong, trusted leadership qualities, a proven ability to manage and develop internal and external relationships at all levels, a confident marketing and business development skills set, and a high degree of business acumen including negotiation of complex fee agreements.

The remuneration package will reflect both the responsibility and scale of the role.
